Trying to have a baby can slowly become your whole life without you ever deciding that it would. The Fertility Sanctuary is somewhere we start talking about you again.
I support people who’ve spent so long trying to have a baby that somewhere amongst the waiting, appointments, Googling, treatment and trying to stay hopeful, they’ve started to lose sight of themselves. This isn’t about wanting your baby any less. It’s about making sure you don’t lose your whole life… or yourself, while you wait.

At first, you’re just trying to have a baby...
Then you start tracking dates.
Looking things up.
Wondering whether you should be doing something differently.
Appointments creep into the diary. Plans start being made around cycles and treatment.
You find yourself working out how pregnant you might be by Christmas, a holiday, a wedding or your next birthday.
You become an expert at smiling through pregnancy announcements.
You say “I’m fine” because explaining how you really feel can seem exhausting.
Maybe you stop going to certain places.
Stop seeing certain people.
Stop doing things you used to enjoy.
Not because you decided one day to put your life on hold.
It just… happened.
Because it began hurting too much not to.
I know because it happened to me too.
For years, so much of my attention was focused on one question:
When will I get pregnant?
It took me a long time to realise there was another question I needed to ask...
What’s happening to me while I’m waiting?
When you’re struggling to have a baby, there always seems to be another suggestion.
Another supplement.
Another test.
Another treatment.
Another thing you wonder whether you should be doing differently.
And, of course, another person telling you what worked for their friend’s cousin who “stopped trying and it just happened”.
I’m not here to give you another fertility hack.
And I’m definitely not going to tell you to “just relax”.
My work starts somewhere that can so easily get forgotten when everything becomes focused on having a baby.
With you.
How you are, really..
Have you been trying to find someone who truly 'gets it' ?
What have you stopped doing?
What do you miss about yourself?
And what do you need right now...not when you’re pregnant, not when treatment works, not when life finally feels more certain?
Right now.
Because sometimes we spend so long looking everywhere else for answers that we forget to turn some of that attention back towards ourselves.
It Starts With You.

Hi, I’m Sam. Before I ever became a fertility coach, I was a midwife. Then, while caring for other women and families, I spent six years struggling to become a mum myself. I knew the science. I understood pregnancy. But none of that prepared me for what infertility actually felt like to live through.
This work is deeply personal to me, not because I have all the answers, but because I know what it’s like when trying to have a baby quietly takes over more and more of your life. I experienced miscarriage, failed IVF, successful IVF and profound loss. Somewhere along the way, I also lost parts of myself. It took becoming physically unwell and partially losing my voice for almost a year to make me stop and begin turning some of the attention I’d spent searching everywhere else back towards myself. That changed the way I understood support — and eventually became the foundation of the work I do today.
Because the dream of becoming a parent matters enormously, but so does the person waiting for that dream. You shouldn’t have to wait for a positive pregnancy test before you’re allowed to feel like yourself or live a life that matters. Your life matters now.
I support people who feel they’ve lost sight of themselves while trying to have a baby, and who want to find a way to live more fully now without giving up hope for the family they still deeply want. So where can you even start?

The Sanctuary is somewhere to step away from the noise for a while. Through gentle, thoughtfully created virtual and in-person experiences, you’ll have space to breathe, slow down, reconnect with yourself and put down some of what you’ve been carrying. No pressure to have everything figured out. Just somewhere you can come as you are.

For when you’re ready to go beyond simply coping and begin making changes alongside a small group of people who understand. Together, we move through my five-part HEART Method™, helping you reconnect with yourself and begin creating space for your life alongside the future you’re still hoping for.

My most personal level of support. A 12-week private journey shaped around you — your story, your needs and the parts of yourself and your life that have become lost along the way. Together we move through the HEART Method™, helping you find your way back to yourself without asking you to let go of the hope that brought you here.
